Museum Introduction

Located within Terminal 2 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, this is India’s largest public art initiative, spanning over 3.2 kilometers. Curated by Rajeev Sethi, it integrates thousands of traditional and contemporary artworks into the terminal's architecture. It was designed to provide travelers with an immersive encounter with India’s diverse cultural soul.

General Collections

The collection comprises over 7,000 artifacts and artworks sourced from across India, including ritual objects, architectural fragments, textiles, paintings, and sculptures. These are organized into six thematic sections: India Greets, India Global, India Elemental, India Silent Sentinels, India Moves, and India Seamless.

Unique Historical Collections

Features a 100-foot tall "Art Wall" and a vast assembly of authentic architectural features, including antique wooden doorways, carved facades from traditional Indian mansions (havelis), and heritage bullock carts and boats.
