Located in Kartarpur, Jalandhar, this mega-project was established by the Government of Punjab to commemorate the contributions and sacrifices made by the Punjabi community during the Indian independence movement. Spread across 25 acres, the memorial serves as a repository of the region's revolutionary history, from the early resistance against the British to the final achievement of freedom in 1947.
The memorial is structured into multiple galleries that utilize modern multimedia displays, dioramas, and murals. It covers significant historical phases including the Anglo-Sikh Wars, the Ghadar Movement, the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, and the Kuka Movement.
Features a state-of-the-art 7D theater that screens a documentary on the freedom struggle and a towering 45-meter high Shaheed-e-Azam minaret. The central structure is an architectural marvel designed in a circular shape with four distinct petals, representing different stages of the struggle.
