Located in Bengaluru, the Indian Music Experience Museum (IME) is India's first interactive music museum. It is a non-profit initiative supported by the Brigade Group, designed to introduce visitors to the diversity of Indian music through high-tech, multi-sensory experiences.
Over 250 musical instruments from across India, along with digital archives of sound recordings, photographs, and oral histories. The museum features nine interactive galleries, including a Sound Garden with large-scale musical installations.
Houses personal memorabilia of legendary Indian musicians, including the Sitar of Pandit Ravi Shankar, the Shehnai of Ustad Bismillah Khan, and a significant collection of vintage gramophones and wax cylinders.
