Founded in 2013 by K. Raja Mohamed, this is the largest seashell museum in India and Asia. Located in Mahabalipuram, it was established to house a massive private collection spanning over 40 years of global travel and research into marine life.
Over 40,000 specimens of rare and unique seashells, marine fossils, shark teeth, and whale fins sourced from more than 50 countries. The collection is organized into four distinct galleries including categories like Murex, Conus, and Mother of Pearl.
Features the Australian Trumpet, recognized as the world's largest seashell, and an extensive collection of rare Valampuri (right-handed) conchs which hold significant cultural and biological value.
