Established in 2022 and named after the former Speaker of the Kerala Legislative Assembly, the G. Karthikeyan Legislature Museum is located within the Legislative Assembly Complex (Niyamasabha) in Thiruvananthapuram. It is a state-of-the-art digital and interactive museum designed to chronicle the evolution of parliamentary democracy in Kerala, from the early administrative councils to the formation of the modern state.
The museum utilizes advanced multimedia technologies, including touchscreen kiosks, holographic projections, and high-resolution digital archives. The collection covers the history of the Sree Moolam Popular Assembly, the development of the Kerala Constitution, and the landmark legislations that shaped the state's social and land reforms.
Digital Archives: Rare footage and voice recordings of historic parliamentary debates and speeches by political luminaries like E.M.S. Namboodiripad and C. Achutha Menon.
