Established in 2015, the Ever Living Museum is a unique private initiative located in Mawshbuit village, about 10 km from Shillong. Founded and curated by Mr. Kyntiewbor War, a retired government engineer, the museum is the culmination of over 50 years of personal collecting. It is designed as a "living" archive that integrates the material culture of the Khasi, Jaintia, and Garo tribes with the natural biodiversity of Meghalaya.
The museum is divided into three distinct sections: Heritage, Stone, and Garden. The Heritage section houses a vast array of ethnographic artifacts including traditional weapons, musical instruments, and household utilities. The Stone section features a geological collection of minerals and fossils. The Garden section serves as an arboretum for indigenous flora, preserving rare orchids and medicinal plants native to the Khasi Hills.
Khoh Rah Briew: A rare, life-size traditional human-carrying basket used historically for transporting people across the rugged terrain of the Northeast. Stone Age Tools: A collection of prehistoric implements found within Meghalaya. Miniature Tribal Huts: Detailed scale models of Garo tree huts and Khasi bamboo dwellings. Indigenous Glass Collection: An eclectic assortment of glass bottles in various shapes and designs collected over decades.

| Notes | The museum is noted for its personal touch, as the owner often personally guides visitors through the exhibits. It is a "three-in-one" concept where culture, geology, and botany coexist. The facility is situated near the Sweet Falls, making it a popular combined day-trip destination. |
