Inaugurated on April 13, 2018, the Dr. Ambedkar National Memorial is located at 26 Alipur Road, the site where Dr. B.R. Ambedkar lived his final years and breathed his last (Mahaparinirvan Bhoomi). The memorial is uniquely designed in the shape of an open book, symbolizing the Constitution of India, and serves as a world-class tribute to the "Architect of the Indian Constitution."
Spread over nearly two acres, the museum features 27 extensive exhibits detailing the life, struggles, and achievements of Babasaheb. The collection includes rare archival photographs, significant historical documents, and interactive digital displays. The lower level focuses on his days spent at this specific premises and his final journey.
Talking Robot: A life-size animatronic figure of Dr. Ambedkar that narrates his famous speeches. Interactive Constitution Table: A high-tech digital table providing comprehensive information on the drafting of the Constitution. Mahaparinirvan Sthal: The preserved room where Dr. Ambedkar passed away, maintained with deep solemnity.
