The Dixit Wada Museum is a specialized biographical museum located within the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust complex in Shirdi. Housed in the historic "Dixit Wada" (built in 1911 by devotee Kakasaheb Dixit), the museum is dedicated to preserving the tangible legacy and simple lifestyle of the 19th-century saint, Shirdi Sai Baba.
The collection consists of everyday items and personal effects used by Sai Baba during his stay in Shirdi. It includes basic culinary tools, water tumblers, smoking pipes, and gramophone records. A significant portion of the gallery is also dedicated to rare black-and-white archival photographs of Baba and his early devotees.
Sacred Relics: The museum houses Sai Baba’s original Kafni (long robes), his leather Padukas (footwear), and his Chillum (smoking pipe). These items are highly revered by pilgrims as a physical connection to the saint's daily life and his philosophy of renunciation.
