Opened on April 27, 1984, the District Science Centre, Dharampur is located in the tribal belt of South Gujarat. It functions under the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) and aims to popularize science and technology while focusing on the natural, environmental, and cultural heritage of the region.
The centre features interactive exhibits across several galleries, including Fun Science, Perception, and Popular Science. The collection is designed to demonstrate basic scientific principles through hands-on participatory models and includes a dedicated Science Park.
