Albert Hall Museum is the oldest museum of Rajasthan and a major center for the preservation of the state’s cultural heritage. It houses an extensive collection of sculptures, paintings, textiles, carpets, arms, and archaeological artifacts representing India’s rich artistic traditions.
The Albert Hall Museum in Jaipur has a wide-ranging general collection that includes paintings such as Mughal, Rajput and Persian miniatures, stone and metal sculptures, arms and armour, decorative art objects made of ivory, wood and metal, traditional textiles and carpets, musical instruments, coins, manuscripts, and rare Egyptian antiquities including a mummy.
