Inaugurated on April 14, 2013, the Conflictorium was designed by artist Avni Sethi as a graduation project. It is housed in the century-old Gool Lodge, which once served as Ahmedabad's first professional female-run hair salon.
The museum holds interactive installations, soundscapes, and community-sourced archives. It utilizes everyday objects and artistic narratives to address themes of identity, citizenship, and historical oppression.
Gool Lodge Archive: Preserves the history of the Victorian-style building and its original owner, Bachuben Nagarwala. Conflict Timeline: A permanent installation chronicling the violent history of Gujarat since its inception in 1960.
