Opened on May 27, 2014, the museum is located in what was formerly the Chief Engineer’s quarters during the construction of Willingdon Island. It preserves the technical and cultural history of the Cochin Port's development, specifically focusing on the period between 1920 and 1941.
The collection includes a vast array of rare archival photographs, vintage navigation equipment, and maritime devices used for dredging and shipbuilding during the British colonial era.
Bristow Collection: Rare photographs and documents chronicling the life and work of Sir Robert Bristow, the British harbour engineer who designed Willingdon Island and developed the modern inner harbour of Kochi.
